what’s on this week’s cover of Vogue. Here are some tips to help you know what frames may suit you and compliment the shape of your face.

• An OVAL face looks good in almost every frame as long as the style is proportional to the overall size of your face. Square shaped frames with gently rounded edges and higher temples are especially appealing. Experiment with today’s latest styles, such as wraparounds or shields.
  
• A ROUND face looks best in frames with straight or angular lines. Try wider, bold, or squared frames to make the face appear longer and thinner. In general, look for frames equal to or slightly wider than the broadest part of your face. Higher temples will create a longer profile. 

• A SQUARE face requires a frame with soft, curvy lines that will soften the strong angles of the jaw-line, broad forehead and wide cheek- bones. Classic ovals are a perfect choice. Higher temples and cat eyes will also lengthen the face.
  
• A TRIANGULAR face looks best in frames with thin rims and vertical lines. This face shape has a narrow forehead and wide jaw, requiring the lower portion of the face to be de- emphasized. Frames can be top heavy, with a straight brow line, and angled inward at the bottom; temples should be placed high. Cat–eyes, wide enough to balance the jaw line, and metal frames with rimless bottoms are good choices.
  
• A DIAMOND shaped face is characterized by its wide or high cheekbones. Rims with soft curvy lines will soften the contour of the face; frames should be no wider than the top of your cheekbones. Oval glasses are a good choice, although gently curved square frames will also work. Experiment with rimless frames for a contemporary look.
  
• A HEART shaped face has a prominent forehead that is complimented by oval, round or aviator styles, which are
  no wider than the forehead and may angle outward at the  bottom
